This website was created with the help of the open source community on the web. This loosely-knit group of programmers and software engineers is the source of much of the innovation you see on the internet, and they create most of the applications which are used to organize and present the web's content. Names such as the Gnu project of the Free Software Foundation, Sourceforge, Apache, and Mozilla all are associated with this vibrant community. All of the software used to develop this website (as of September 2006) came from these sources and is licensed freely for distribution and use by the public.
Nvu was used to edit the HTML website pages along with notepad for cleanup.
